A few weeks ago, Linda pulled this little gem from Marie Bean:
It is not about cutting out the food or drink you love and crave – it’s about making a deal with those things by having them around you, but not in the same quantities or as frequently.
Linda suggested we each choose one thing we could do which would decrease the amount of our favourite treats that we ingest. Some great ideas came out of this suggestion. We had someone half the amount of chocolate she ate and another decrease the portion size of the "good stuff" at each meal.
One suggestion was also to buy a share pack of chocolates (okay... two share packs) and to eat only one chocolate with lunch each work day. It was hugely helpful to place the box with the chocolates in the safe behind a very heavy, 100+ year old solid steel door!
